The course is split into clinical and preclinical years. (Last 3 being clinical and totally based in hospital). The university is great the atmosphere in the medical school is good; fun is had by all. |

HOW MANY HOURS WORK PER WEEK ARE YOU DOING? (LECUTRES/TUTORIALS/LIBRARY READING ETC |
The hours pile on in 3rd year with anything from 8am – 5pm to having days off; you work as hard as you want to. |

ANY ADVICE ABOUT ACCOMODATION |
Do go for self catering. It’s cheaper and gives you more freedom. |

HOW MUCH ARE YOU SPENDING PER TERM AND ON WHAT? |
Too much!!! You can imagine the usual things, food books, phone, petrol (if you have a car), gym nights out. Whatever you think you will spend add about £20-30 so you won’t end up with any surprises. |

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE JUST ENDING THEIR LOWER SIXTH |
Look around at universities and don’t be afraid to talk to students there. You will find that we are pretty approachable and have the answers you want. Look forward to uni even if upper 6th is tough; the good times are just around the corner! |
